User Name and Password to Listen to feeds

Why is RR asking for a USER NAME and PASSWORD to listen to feeds is this new or a mistake

Not sure what you are talking about.

I can listen to any feed with logging in even if I am not logged in as an admin.

I tested several feeds.

What feed are your trying to listen to?

I had this while listening to my feed with the conventional webplayer. This didn't show up at first. It showed up when i've pressed F5 to refresh ...

If i hit cancel the player start normally ...

I get the same now after I cleared cookies & reloaded.

I will check on this and get back.

Lindsay says we have not made any changes to require a listener to log into listen to feeds.

He is checking further.

The system did ask me once to log into listen to a feed but not now.

OK, we think we know what caused this.

Our API servers had a little hickup at around 2:45 PM CST today (they started running a bit slow).

The problem seems to have resolved itself.

Just an FYI it did it yesterday afternoon also. When I entered username and password it didnt take it.
