VECC Ops (1-10) channels

Guys,

Since SLCoSO came over to UCAN, I've noticed that VECC Ops 7 seems
to be used for the Sherrif's dispatch (TGID 20992) of "urgent" matters.

Any thoughts on this?

I dont know about the Ops channels, but talkgroug #224 is being used as the County Code 1 (Tac 1) channel for all the priority incidents.

I think that TG might be simulcast on Ops 7.

I will throw my list together and get it to ya in the next few days. I listen ALL the time. I take it with me in the truck so I can listen during the day. I mostly listen to West Valley Channels, UHP, West Jordan and sometimes Midvale.

We usually listen in the evenings as the 780 is on my bedroom stand.

We listen to Sherrif, Sandy City, and UHP mostly.

BTW, do you know of ANY stores in the valley where you can BUY
scanners anymore? The last place I knew of (on state at 7900s) gave
up selling them.

What kinda scanner are you looking for?? All of the Radio Shacks carry the Pro series, that is the kind I buy. I know Sapp Brothers truckstop had a couple unidens (a base and a handheld model) other than that, I am not sure I am a big fan of the Pro series.

Changes in Sheriff TGs

A few changes to the names of the Sheriff talkgroups since they moved to UCAN. Ops 7 appears to be used for the same thing they had intended Special Services to be used for.
