Looked around to see if Venezuelan Flagship Airline "Conviasa"might have any "company" HF Aero frequencies, to no avail. Then I looked for public SDR's in the area, but no go. It seems that Puerto Rico is hosting some military ops; perhaps there is still some mil HF action rolling from there?
One notation was found for regional aero freqs for Maquetia: 3010,6643,8924,11345,17937,21976. No date was on the document, so good luck.
I am very dated on utility monitoring. My not-very-useful observation is that in the early years of this century, HF ALE op chatter was very easy to copy from the Venezuelan Navy. In 2008, I would leave my Icom R-75 scanning all night on those Venezuelan frequencies, kindly published in Monitoring Times. Even though HF scanning is problematic, I often auto-captured pages of comms from that service, on my computer/radio setup. I got a charge out of copying, once, the list of Naval Techs to report for the " Curso de Guerra Electronica". I wondered if "Ivan" was there, and what adversary the "boogie man" would be--as if we don't know.
