Today on database page for my county, I was looking at the frequencies for VCFD and they added a proposed radio frequency section. They are currently on the FM mode and these new ones show they are on the FMN mode. Does anybody know what this means?

FMN = Narrow band FM
There is a FCC mandate that all agencies by 2013 transition to narrower 12.5kHz step spacing from current 25kHz.
