I could change my feed to an Oakland feed, but my scanner doesn't pick up the OAKLAND area that good for some reason, and I don't know how the result would be. I do have the Alameda County Sheriff TAC channels for coverage.

The scanner is a Radioshack PRO-94 that I brought back to life, and it isn't the greatest but it does the job.

Hey guys, I am currently away from home in Dublin until about 9 PM. I can either limit the scanner to the riot, and take all the Fire Department off, or I can also add the OAKLAND feed too, let me know what you guys would like to hear. Sorry I can't adjust it right now for you all.

What I could do is add oakland, and then just the two TAC channels that ACSO is using, and that would be pretty much complete, or just add Oakland alone. I'm monitoring my feed right now on my netbook, and will continute to do so until I get home and i'll see what kind of activity is where and be sure to set it up. I could be home also a little earlier, say about 8:30, but its like a 50/50 chance right now. Either way, around 9PM i'll be home.

Avatarsingh is right - once it gets dark, that is when things are going to start to pop. Be safe out there coming home. I know there are a lot of places standing by for mutual-aid.

Thanks all, and indeed I will be extra safe. It's scary to say I live in San Lorenzo, Oakland is less than just a few miles away..

I saw about an hour ago that CHP had one of the ICV's rolling out from the academy in West Sacramento.

I think it was live like 30 mins to almost an hour ago.. it doesn't seem updated yet, same one I saw when I clicked on it before.. hmm
