I devoted some of my holiday long weekend to rechecking some regional frequencies. Here is a summary of my findings:

TAXICABS

Capitaland is no longer using any conventional channels. All operations are trunked on assorted LTR systems.

Albany Yellow UHF conventional channels silent.

Buzzy's - unable to verify UHF vs 800 trunking due to weak reception.

Colonie Checker VHF channels silent.

Vardine ParaTransit now using MotoTRBO on 452.150 MHz.

CAPITAL DIGITRONICS EDACS

Site 0001 LCN 2 (857.6375) silent.

Site 0002 LCN 1 (854.1625) silent.
Site 0002 LCN 8 (857.3375) silent.
Site 0002 LCN 12 (854.7375) silent.

Site 0003 LCN 1 855.0625 active CC - all others silent - no traffic on system.

Site 0004 weak reception of CC - status not verified.

Site 0005 no changes.

Site 0006 no changes.

Dave, here is what I have for taxicabs:

Capitaland Taxi:
Albany (City) - 464.450 LTR LCN 10 0-10-003 Dispatch / 0-10-002 Taxi
Colonie & Guiderland - 463.500 LTR LCN 12 0-12-005 Dispatch / 0-12-004 Taxi
Troy - uses the Goin' Mobile Bald Mountain UHF System 0-11-131 Dispatch / 0-11-130 Taxi
Schenectady - was using the ACM Crawford UHF System 0-01-101 Dispatch / 0-01-102 Taxi - however, haven't logged any activity on 461.075 (LCN 01) recently.
Saratoga - unknown, but I think they may be using the Goin' Mobile Willard UHF System 0-09-141 Dispatch & Taxi
At one time, Capitaland had a 464.950 LTR LCN 11 with some talk groups on it, but I haven't monitored it for quite some time. Also, on 463.500, there are also talk groups 0-12-009 dispatch / 0-12-008 taxi that gets used from time to time, sounds like cabs in Albany. Unsure if this is a special division, like airport or rail station.

Advantage Transportation Group:
they have switched a few channels around. Yellow Cabs are confirmed on 452.350 CTCSS 210.7 Dispatch & Taxi. They also use 452.200 CTCSS 210.7 as well as 463.625 CTCSS 210.7 but unsure as to what exactly. They are running white vehicles with CDTA iRide logos on them with Advantage Transportation Group on the door; these cars have 400#'s on the side. They also have cabs for the Albany-Rensselaer rail station; I saw one with a 500# on the side. All of their other channels (452.275 and 452.500) have gone silent. The license for 452.200 and 463.625 is for Goin' Mobile.

Duffy's Taxi:
Still using Business Radio Communications' Grafton UHF System. 0-20-222 is the dispatch, and the taxis range between 0-20-212 and 0-20-221.

Buzzy's Taxi:
Switched (again) to Business Radio Communications' Grafton UHF System. 0-15-210 is the dispatch, and 0-15-199 are the taxi's.

Colonie Checkered went under. Some of the drivers have gotten together again and run as "Checkered Transportation" in their old red cabs. However, after speaking with a couple of their drivers, they no longer use the VHF radios 152.360/157.620. All cellphone now.

787 Taxi (Watervliet) - Still Business Radio Communications' Grafton UHF System. 0-13-204 dispatch & taxi.

Black & White Cab of Troy - 452.400 CTCSS 127.3 Dispatch, 457.400 CTCSS 127.3 Taxi (not repeated).

Acme Taxi (Cohoes) - used to be Spindle City Taxi - unknown; they don't have antennas on their cabs (that are visible).

A-1 Taxi (Mechanicville?) - unknown; they also don't appear to have antennas on their cabs.

Thanks for the updates. I will be working to integrate them into the CAP-IT page, which I will then re-publish at my URL for collaboration.

As far as I know, that site only has even-numbered LCNs. I have a different TGID for them, too.

It's amazing how the TGIDs get changed periodically. It must be awfully easy to do on LTR.

I still have over 20 unidentified taxi frequencies/talkgroups on my CAP-IT list. I have uploaded a revised version incorporating your data to CAP-IT Taxi

But they would work just fine as a wiki article. This is one of the ways it's used - as a running scratchpad for unknowns and research. For example,

Albany County NY Unknown Users- the RR Wiki

OK, I was able to confirm on Thursday Capitaland Taxi Colonie/Guilderland is using 462.125 MHz. DCS 411. Confirmed while at Colonie Center; observed a cab drop a fare and call back in; the Close Call captued the car transmitting on the repeater input 467.125 MHz.

And as for Yellow Cab, they changed their CTCSS tone on 452.350 MHz. Dispatch now uses 136.5 Hz. and the cabs use 210.7 Hz.
