Vertex Standard Clone Editor Problem

Hello all,

I have recently upgraded my PC to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. I have reinstalled Vertex Standard Clone Editor, which I use to program my VXD-720 DMR portables. When I attempt to launch the program, it displays an error message of "Application Failed" and then the program force closes itself. It does this whether or not I have selected "run as administrator." Changing the compatibility settings also seems to have no effect. The strange part of all of this is that the program works fine on my newer PC with Windows 10 once I select "run as administrator." Does anyone have any advice?

Make sure the name of the CPS is what it originally was when it installed to your desktop. I had this problem as well on W-10. I reinstalled, ran as windows 7, and as administrator and that seemed to do it.

Thank you for the reply. I should have been more specific as I have done a clean install of Windows 10 Pro onto a blank solid state drive. The name of the program is the default "Vertex Standard Clone Editor" which is exactly how it was on my old HDD with Windows 7 and it is exactly the same as how it is on my newer PC with Windows 10. The only difference between the older install and the newer install is that I am using a newer version of Clone Editor.

Very strange problem. No matter what compatibility settings I use it still gives me an "Application Failed" message, while at the same time it works perfectly fine on the same OS on my newer PC.
