In the 33 MHZ range, I was consistently picking up Massachusetts and Connecticut fire departments, back in December and January. But recently, not much skip. Rather odd, considering we are supposed to be at the peak of a solar cycle.

That was using an AR-6 Ringo. Now that I've got a 6-meter horizontal loop antenna up on the roof, I'd really like to see what it is capable of.
