I'm getting 3 to 5 bars while scanning, do I push func and vol at the same time is the funct the big knobForm Marks Scanners.
These steps work only when you can clearly receive the frequencies. If you are in a weak-signal area or receive interference, these steps will not work. These steps do not compensate for weak signals or signals subject to interference.

If I am getting a good signal and not stopping on any idsHold on any Site, or digital conventional Frequency.

I viewed threshold it's showing 6-13 while scanning what should i put in for manualI am not following. What are you asking?

I'll take a stab in the dark and say simulcast distortion. Threshold levels are dependent on different factors. There's no "one size fits all" solution. If you do happen to get one reliable decode after following the steps outlined in post #4 take note of that threshold level. The key is to get the error rate (ERR) as close to zero as possible before setting threshold mode to manualI am not following. What are you asking?
You seem like more of an AUTO setting person. I definitely am an AUTO setting person because I don’t feel like messing with the tricks to try to get a scanner to do something it wasn’t designed to do well.I viewed threshold it's showing 6-13 while scanning what should i put in for manual
Will turning the antenna helpI'll take a stab in the dark and say simulcast distortion. Threshold levels are dependent on different factors. There's no "one size fits all" solution. Yeah I later realized we've been through this before with the OP...@Whiskey3JMC
I would not think it is Simulcast as he is like 50 miles from anywhere.
Did OP mention how he programmed the unit?@Whiskey3JMC

I used proscan I'm getting a non simulcast system from 42 milesDid OP mention how he programmed the unit?
No, I have another antenna with less gain and I have a rtl sdrBack to your new problem are you using a PREAMP?
If so can you adjust the gain you may have too much gain and need to turn it down.
The scanner are storing the threshold values individually to each site. If you are scanning then it will show each value from each site as you scan them.I viewed threshold it's showing 6-13 while scanning what should i put in for manual
