    We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

    If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Watching this video takes me back down memory lane. Someone in the Netherlands decided to open a museum dedicated to scanner radio. A lot of these receivers are from the 1970s - 1990s. You will see European and domestic models on display. Its hard to believe that back in the day, these scanners were cutting edge technology.

So tomarrow I am being sent to mass for work I was planning on going to the scanner museum but it requires a 3 week notice appointment to see so I guess that is out work will be 8 miles from it .
