will the ecko link or any of the listen only streams work for Ian? If so can you tell me what links will be available to listen to only. When will they become active for Florida. I have family in Tarpon Springs. Thank yes I am a weather spotter. Spotter ID number is: MAA21-010.

Maybe these local TV stations streaming live weather news might be an alternative.

Tampa

Fort Myers

Of these, I thought fox13news and winknews had the best coverage.

For some reason, abc-7 had continuous stutter on their stream. Perhaps the server was overloaded.

I did check a few DMR talkgroups that I would expect traffic on, but nothing heard. Looks like many people were on roads heading east. The weather in Fort Myers, as I write this, didn't appear to be all that bad. It looks like Ian is slowing down and wobbling a bit to the east on its northward trek, and still 24 hours out from Fort Myers (more from Tampa). Obviously this all can change but the NHC updates (next at 5 pm) should be paid attention to.
