VOX recording with daily generated files?

I used to use scanner recorder but if I remember right it only recorded to one file all the time until you stopped it and made a new file.

I am looking to see if there is any software that can record VOX but create a new file every day? Our volly FD is looking to record our radio traffic locally because dispatch is worthless and the computer at the station isn't monitored every day so I would need something that generates new files each day or every predetermined time.

Ideas?

2. Audacity. A google search for audacity vox showed three Youtube videos that sound like what you would be interested in.

I use ProScan, you can do one long file or a file every transmission, etc. I'm not sure if it'll do exactly what you're looking to do with predetermined date/times but it would be something to look into. From what the ProScan website shows it only works for certain scanners, see if you have one listed and maybe it'll work.

Back in the Windows XP days, I used a program called Xcorder. It allowed you to chose how you wanted files stored. I think one of those settings was to have a new folder made every hour. It supported VOX triggered recording.
I haven't used it in ages. Last time I tried was with Win 7 and it ....worked. I haven't tried it with Win 10 or 11. If you have access to an older PC, Xcorder will do what you want.

Proscan works perfectly for what you are describing.
It can do each VOX individually. Or you can set it for a time frame.
