I was reading some posts and read about a "wall wart" I tred to WIKI it , and google, no help. What is it? Just wondering.

A wall wart is a power supply for a device that plugs into the A/C power plug on the wall. Most of these power supplies have the electrical hardware (transformers/rectifiers/regulators) in a small plastic housing that hang out of the plug against the wall, which makes it look like a wart on the wall, thus the name wall wart.

It is the black cube that is on the wall socket end of many of your electronics power cords. It runs 1-4 watts of power even when your electronics is shut off.
