Does anyone know how I can monitor Wallenpaupack lake estates? I know they are DMR I don’t believe they are encrypted because the cp200d the security uses don’t do the encrypted talk permit tone. I have a cp200d and one sdr dongle, but have no idea where to start to listen to them. They also might be on a repeater

There's no way to tell this from examining the license. One (you?) will need to do the detective work, plug the frequency in, find out talkgroup ID(s) and color code and submit the info to the DB

Last time I was at the lake (rented a house for a week just south of Estates right near Ironwood) , plan was to scan an id a bunch of stuff and submit but with fishing and boating everyday, scanner never made it out.

No idea who to find the talk group IDs or color codes, don’t know much about DMR honestly

Since you have an SDR dongle, use DSDPlus with it. It will show the TGs and CC in use.

Since you have an sdr dongle, you can use DSDPlus (fmp24 & DSDPlus) or Sdr# with the dmr plugin Both will decode the dmr. DSDPlus will give you the color code though you really don't need the color code to listen.

DSDPlus public version is free and should get you by. Sdr# and the plug in are free. Sdrtrunk may also work and thats free too.
