I have been searching for the warren county park commission Radio frequencies and I am not able to find anything
From the County web site it appears that Parks is part of Public Works. The RRDB shows 154.980 repeater is used by both EMS and DPW with different PLs. Have you tried that frequency? It looks like it is shared county services and Parks may be the same or different PL from DPW.I have been searching for the warren county park commission Radio frequencies and I am not able to find anything
Try:They have a repeater on Black Mtn. in the 159.xxx area similar to DEC/Rangers. They are a state agency, but are dispatched by Warren County, along with the Sheriff’s boats, NYSP, and Encon. There is hardly any VHF marine radio usage on Lake George.
Lake George Park Commission 1 | 159.3000 | 151.1750 | 114.8 | |
Lake George Park Commission 2 | 159.3000 | 159.3000 | 114.8 |
Who is "they"? You asked about a Warren County Park Commission that apparently does not exist. If you are really asking about Lake George Park Commission then N2YQT has your answer in the post above.Yes but they also have there own channel off of the warren county sheriffs main channel
sorry for taking this thread to left field but what exactly is the "tink" sound when the dispatch console unkeys in Warren county? Spectra Tac Comparator?
It has to do with the console gateway for their Tait simulcast radio system. Herkimer County has the exact same sound when they unkey from dispatch as well. Both counties use Tait As-IP analog simulcast infrastructure. Warren County uses Motorola consoles and Herkimer uses Zetron.sorry for taking this thread to left field but what exactly is the "tink" sound when the dispatch console unkeys in Warren county? gotcha.. yeah its an awesome system... only bad thing i heard from a sheriff deputy i ran into at the mall was how their new harris xl200p radios cannot DOS mute mdc1200 and you get stuck hearing entire packets. So they downgraded. This is what happens when non-radio savvy people get sucked in by salespeople. They don’t realize the “little” features that they don’t know that they’re going to lose. They just see a cheaper radio. You get what you pay for.gotcha.. yeah its an awesome system... only bad thing i heard from a sheriff deputy i ran into at the mall was how their new harris xl200p radios cannot DOS mute mdc1200 and you get stuck hearing entire packets. Woah that’s major jump in technologyThey went from HT1250s to the XL200s. There were some Motorola and Kenwood test radios floating around.
Not as drastic as going from 1980s era low band radios to 700 MHz APX on TDMA simulcast trunking lolWoah that’s major jump in technology
