I have been searching for the warren county park commission Radio frequencies and I am not able to find anything
From the County web site it appears that Parks is part of Public Works. The RRDB shows 154.980 repeater is used by both EMS and DPW with different PLs. Have you tried that frequency? It looks like it is shared county services and Parks may be the same or different PL from DPW.

Any standard marine frequencies would not be in the data base.

Warren County has a Parks Department as part of Public Works but I don't see a "Parks Commission". Are you possible referring to the Lake George Park Commission? Their website says their patrols are dispatched by the Warren County Sheriff.

Right, and as @k2hz eluded to, they're probably on one of the standard marine channels. Ch 17 is designated for state/local agency usage.

They have a repeater on Black Mtn. in the 159.xxx area similar to DEC/Rangers. They are a state agency, but are dispatched by Warren County, along with the Sheriff’s boats, NYSP, and Encon. There is hardly any VHF marine radio usage on Lake George.

Try:
Lake George Park Commission 1159.3000 151.1750114.8
Lake George Park Commission 2159.3000 159.3000114.8

Yes but they also have there own channel off of the warren county sheriffs main channel
Who is "they"? You asked about a Warren County Park Commission that apparently does not exist. If you are really asking about Lake George Park Commission then N2YQT has your answer in the post above.

The Lake George patrol boats do advertise they monitor VHF Marine 16 so they do have Marine radios and could use various working channels to talk to other boats depending on who they are communicating with but their own operational communications would likely be on Public Safety channels.

It has to do with the console gateway for their Tait simulcast radio system. Herkimer County has the exact same sound when they unkey from dispatch as well. Both counties use Tait As-IP analog simulcast infrastructure. Warren County uses Motorola consoles and Herkimer uses Zetron.

So they downgraded. This is what happens when non-radio savvy people get sucked in by salespeople. They don’t realize the “little” features that they don’t know that they’re going to lose. They just see a cheaper radio. You get what you pay for.

the XL-200P is a newer top of the line radio designed for the digital age. wouldn't call it downgrading
