WCRS site question

Can anyone point me in the right direction of the best WCRS site to put in for the Cold Springs area. Red Mtn is hit or miss seeing how the Granite Range is in the way.

What about Peavine or Virginia Peak?

I was thinking Peavine. But according to the database the frequencies are not confirmed LCN and sites preceded with a “9” are not generally used. I think Virginia may be to far but I’ll give it a try.

Don't use the database other than a rough guess. Their are plenty of people in the area that can give you accurate results. Don't forget to check the 700 PII system for WCSO also.

In west Reno/Verdi program Crystal Peak Site, in Washoe Valley Program in Slide Mountain Site. In other Washoe County areas you'll have to experiment to see what sites work best.
