[mods if this is in the wrong spot please move it]

I've been monitoring several SKYWARN frequencies here in N Texas I picked up a few

444.675 pl 110.9 Relays many county skywarn transmissions [great if you cannot hear Tarrant or Denton counties]

442.400 pl 88,5 Several chasers talking here west of Tarrant county [found them very interesting and knowledgable]

I thought some of you might be interested in them.

There are several linked repeater systems in Texas. You stumbled upon "RAILS". It has links out to Abilene and into East texas the last time I Checked (It's been a while so if I am in error, someone please correct me).

The really good linked system to monitor weather is in Oklahoma (SWIRA).

A lot of the backhaul stuff is beginning to use Echolink (Radio over IP).

If you want most of the skywarn frequencies for North texas, download CCRM - Dallas County RACES

Thanks these linked systems work well for me as my antennas are in my room on a cookie sheet [Apartment complex and no way to mount and antenna]
