Weather Radio SAME Programming - WRS101

Someone just gave me an older Oregon Scientific Weather Radio (WRS101) but had no manual for it. I found a copy of a manual (2 page) that had everything except for exactly "how to input the SAME ID's". Can anyone provide any programming assistance? Thanks.

programming that little beast is a nightmare, if you know your same code, using the up/down buttons on the right hand side it is used for setting the s.a.m.e. codes, i had one back in the late 1990's.
