Hello,

I'm just getting into weather radio and was wondering what weather radios have selectable alerts?

I only want to hear certain watches and warnings. I want to disable all other events.

I am aware of the Midland WR300 and the Reecom R1630.

Thanks

If you can get a Midland WR-100 those are great Severe Weather Alert Radios. You can set it up for Counties that you want within your state with the FIPS Codes for those Severe Weather Watches and Warnings for those counties you want to monitor.I have (2) of them. One in my Communications Center and the other one upstairs on my nightstand near my bed with my other "Nightside Radios" Very Best Reguards, Tim DeLong W9NES/GMRS KAF3207/**Monitoring all of Metro Indianapolis/Marion County and Central Indiana and The World from"The Northwest Communications Center"

Hi,

I'm not sure if the Midland WR100 has selectable alerts (ie. sound alarm for warnings only).

Upon further research, I've discovered that the Sima First Alert wx200 radio also supports selectable alerts.
