Public Safety Agencies: Now you can hear your two-way radio traffic, and
traffic from neighboring agencies, from anywhere in the world over the
web, whether on your office or home PC, a laptop, your patrol car MDT or
even selected Internet-enabled cell phone.

In addition, if you missed any important radio traffic, you can go back
in time, hours, days, even weeks, instantly!

This web-based technology gives your agency complete two-way radio
interoperability with any other agency on the system without the need to
purchase any equipment.

Additionally you can:
* Monitor any combination of channels/talkgroups at one time from
multiple agencies
* Pause transmissions (no transmissions are missed!)
* Skip instantly to the next transmission
* Review the previous night's radio traffic in minutes at home or on the
way to work

Currently on trials with: San Diego Police Department, CA, San Diego
County Sheriff, USCG, Lincoln County Sheriff, NV, White Pine County
Sheriff, NV, Elko County Sheriff, NV, Nevada Highway Patrol, AOR Japan,
and more….

Lindsay, I just checked out the free demo for this product, and it looks awesome. This appears to be a nice tool for Public Safety agencies. I would love something like this on my vehicle mounted laptop, containing 3 surrounding counties of local Sheriff, Police, and Fire, however, I am just a private citizen... might something like this be released for personal civilian use?

Is there a way that RR can utilize the "live audio streams" on this RR site that are already in place and stream those into a face plate skin similar to the one shown on that demo? RR members can harness different counties or states' audio streams and have them all listed/bundled on a face plate like the one in that demo. I my self would choose a few local, surrounding counties in central Florida where I reside, and then I might add FDNY streams as I am formerly from Long Island, N.Y. and always enjoyed monitoring the city fire frequencies. To have the option of 6 or 8 agency streams on one face plate would be awesome... you really wouldn't need the pause, skip, or reverse features... just an attractive/professional appearing face plate w/ a few buttons to bundle a few agencies, to allow RR members to choose a few for simple instant access. Its almost like building your own scanner from audio streams that are being brought to us by our own members, and it may increase the amount of streams that members bring in, once they see this new device. It might be fun to listen to streams simultaniously, or just bounce back and forth between local agencies while on a laptop. Just a thought, I do not know what's involved with putting something like this together, or if its even legal to have in an automobile on a laptop, considering some states current laws regarding in car scanner useage. All in all, I truly liked the demo, and hope that it brings good results for Public Service agencies. Have a great day.

Wonder what would happen on encrypted systems?
Wow...one could actually click on and listen to systems unreachable up to now...like ProVoice.

Thanks, Lindsay for the news.
