Web Service Question, Pro-92

I have a Pro-92 scanner. I would like to become a premium member and download the fequencies and talk groups to my scanner with ease. From this Wiki article, http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/RadioReference.com_Web_Service I notice that nothing supports the Pro-92.

Does anyone have a work around or a suggestion for me?

You can program it with with win 92 found here http://www.starrsoft.com/ its free to use, as far as web import with win 92 I am not sure as I don't own a pro92 but it looks like it will not from the link in your post.

I just downloaded win92 and gave it a try and it will not do web import sorry.

Win92 is what I've been using to manually program the scanner now. Am I stuck with this method until I upgrade to a better scanner?

There's a PRO-92 group on Yahoo. Perhaps you can find an .spg file there with what you need programmed. Personally I like to customize my stuff anyway.

The wiki contains a procedure that you can use to copy/paste data using Excel (or similar) as an intermediary...

In addition to the PRO92 Yahoo group, you could also try your state's forum here on RR, or alternatively, one of the many scanning related Yahoo groups for your state. A good assortment (not necessarily complete) are indexed here...

[edit] If enough folks complain about the lack of the web service support, perhaps DonS will relent and add it to Win92, 93 and 95. It would probably be easier to make it a plug in rather than integrate it....just a thought....
