Original responce from Brighton at 14301 Weld county rd 4, requested assistance from Hudson and Fort Lupton with tenders, brush trucks and attack trucks, due to a brush fire that had gotten out of control.

Between CR 4 and 6 on CR 31.

Weld has been on fire today, I have heard about 10-15 different calls since noon about different ground fires. Must have just got warm enough out today.

I have been hearing "Kodak Command" and some Greeley units (4160 is at least one of them) on MAC 6. Does that have something to do with this fire?

Just realized it's the Kodak plant spill, not this. Sorry.

Well it wasn't just one fire, there were many calls all around the county and I think I heard of at least one in Boulder county. AS for the Kodac thing I havn't popped into that thread yet to see was the chemical was. I guess some of the causes were farmers getting out and burning ditchs and the wind caused to get out of control.

Was trying to see if there were anymore news stories, dispatch was saying there were many calls from reporters.

Must be this time of year, all the farmers getting out and burning ditches then they get out of control, its keeping the fire depts very busy.
