Thank you so much to everybody for the help so far.

Ill be taking my new BCD396T with me.

I programmed the CSP Middlesex site in the scanner and set it as a Moto Type II conventional....I read here that since its not a pure P25 system dont use that option...this right?

Any other suggestions?

Here is some more info for the shoreline area. Most of this is in the database but this is a quick synopsis of what you need to monitor the area. The county PL for 46 mhz fire/ems is 141.3 (there are a few oddities but they only affect the northern departments). The department numbers would be helpful as well otherwise you wont know whos going on the calls. Some dispatchers use them others just say the town name.

46.18 Middlesex County Dispatching

Shoreline area:
45.88 Killingworth/Haddam operations
46.04 Essex operations
46.20 Westbrook operations (crossband repeater 154.445)
46.26 Old Saybrook operations
46.36 Clinton operations

Department Numbers:
3 - Old Saybrook
4 - Westbrook
5 - Deep River
6 - Essex
7 - Chester
8 - Killingworth
9 - Clinton
13 - Haddam

That is correct. I can send you a Win96 (Pro-96) file if you have the ability to read and convert it. Or you can download or read the data from the Middlesex CT database on this site.
