Westlake FD Chief told me today that Westlake PD is switching to the Austin/Travis County
Apco 25 system...He said they just recieved nine Motorola Xts 5000's...As soon as I get the new talkgroup ID's I will post them on the database...Can't wait to listen to Westlake PD on the digital system, when I monitor Westlake PD on 857.93750 DC:115 The dispatcher sounds like they are on a speaker phone!! (very annoying!!) When they switch over to the digital system I hope the sound quality will improve. (i'm sure it will!!)
