We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

I am programming my scanner with the Tampa PD frequencies for the upcoming Republican National Convention next Summer and I noticed that they run an EDAC system, but I cannot find the agency/fleet/sub fleet codes to put into the slots so I can monitor them while trunked.

Can anyone provide me with the agency/fleet/sub fleet codes that go along with the following frequencies?

The frequencies you have have below are no longer used by the Tampa Police, they are now on the Hillsborough county Edacs system. if I understand you right you are looking for the AFS for Tampa PD on the Edacs system. they can be found under the data base. here is the link. hope this helps you out.

Hillsborough County Public Safety Trunking System, Hillsborough County, Florida - Scanner Frequencies
Thank you for that info.

So correct me if I am wrong, Tampa PD is now using the same EDAC freqs that Hillsoborough S.O. is?

Since I already have the Hillsborough Co. S.O. West System frequencies set up in my scanner with the appropriate agency/fleet/sub fleet codes programmed for HCSO District 3, what do I need to do to program the Tampa PD agency/fleet/sub fleet codes?

Do I need to re-program those frequencies into another bank, and then put in the proper Tampa PD agency/fleet/sub fleet codes?

If so, which EDAC freqs. do I put in, the East Sysytem or the West System, or both?

Since I already have the Hillsborough Co. S.O. West System frequencies set up in my scanner with the appropriate agency/fleet/sub fleet codes programmed for HCSO District 3, do I now need to re-program the scanner again with the same frequencies this time for the bank of Tampa channels and agency/fleet/sub fleet codes?

If that is the case I don't know if I can do that since I have an Older Uniden Bearcat Trunk Tracker II BC245XLT.

I know that I cannot enter the same frequencies twice, no matter what bank I attempt to do so, because I will get an error message if I do (been there and done that).

Any suggestions?
