I'm not familiar with a pro-82 but I'll bet it will work. A digital is not needed.
Its supposed to me for a local PD but I have no scanner to check![]()
If you're in Hawthorne you should get that signal pretty clear, it's Hawthorne PD's dispatch channel from the south Bay Comm Center. don't know much about the Pro-82 but it's a regular analog channel so should work in just about any scanner produced in the last 15+ years.
