During my experimenting with a P25 system, I noticed in the lower right corner of the scanner it displayed PT0 (that's PT Zero) where the P25, DAT, LNK, etc are shown. Does anyone know what this means? Thanks!

To expand on what UPMan said.
P25 Phase 1 is a 12.5khz talk path. FDMA
P25 Phase 2 is a 6.25khz talk path TDMA so on a single frequency you can have 2 talk paths.
Those are represented as 0 and 1.
So if you see P25 during a conversation its a Phase 1 12.5khz talk path.
If you see PT0 or PT1 its a Phase 2 6.25khz talk path. Literally doubling the amount of talk paths on a system, if the system started as Phase 1.
Think i got that right.
