Which NTSC frequency do I put in to recieve video on TVSharp?

I've tried the pilot and video carrier, but both have a distorted BW scrolling image.

If you are using an RTL-SDR dongle, then you probably won't be able to get a good TV picture. They generally cover a 2 MHz bandwidth, and TV signals are 6 MHz wide.

Not to mention, most if not all terrestrial TV in the US is DTV now rather NTSC analog. I guess LP stations may be NTSC.

use the freq list here
CATV/FM/TV Frequencies
I use 1.57MSPS NTSC
press start and play with the gain control
I watch NFL games from CTV in the corner of my computer screens. Don't mind B&W and no sound is a blessing since I don't want to listen to useless commentary anyway.

Any SDR that would work for 6 mhz?

There's a low power UHF repeater for the local Fox station, plus I have also connected the RTL to my VCR.

Didn't get much better results with the VCR

Tried the 1.57 and it is a bit less bouncy, but still very poor resolution.

Update:

Still can't get the video from the VCR quite right.

Got the Fox 24 repeater to come in a little better but still a bit bouncy and low res.

Channel 24 comes in weak on my regular TV though.
