What is "IDS" in Receive Mode indicator?

Listening to a remote NX4 broadcast and the scanner went from NX4 to IDS, then back to NX4.

Looked everywhere but couldn't find any info.

I think the NX0 is actually NXD (data?), from what I've seen in the messages sent to ProScan.

This could happen if there is no forward error correction in place. It really needs a full 100% clean signal to work without it. All the anomalies reported could probably be traced back to this.
