What's the old 46-50MHz Cordless Phone Band being used for?

Remember the old cordless telephone frequencies between 46-50MHz? Are they being used for anything these days?

still allocated for that, closest frequency near me is a sunoco pipeline at 48.84

Yeah never hear them except an occasional baby monitor... Those were fun days! That and analog cell phones... lol - I learned a lot about rural Kansas!

You would not believe (or maybe you would) some of the things I used to hear on cordless phones. With my outdoor antenna I could hear houses more than three blocks away clearly. I also had a friend that lived in a high-rise apartment building & we "knew" all his neighbors very well. Good times.

46/49 Mhz phones and baby monitors are still in use.

Here in New England we also have some MIL (FM) mixed in there as well
