Hello,
I went to the official US available AirSpy website, to purchase another AirSpyR2, and it states they are $169.00, then states "out of stock".

Are they not selling them currently? If not, why?

The other sites that are supposedly within the USA have them considerably more expensive. I do want to purchase where I can have a warranty that would be recognized. And i'll wait before I spend $200+

Is anybody else having these issues? Any suggestions? Not wanting to overpay, when they may come back available at $169.

Thank you ok advance

I went to the official US available AirSpy website,

Airspy US is a Distributor based in the USA who sells Airspy products. The Official Airspy site is Airspy.com.

Many of the prices listed on there were sale prices and have been listed before the tariff stuff started. I seriously doubt any of those prices will remain after new merchandise arrives.
  • WE ARE CURRENTLY EVALUATING THE EFFECTS OF THE NEWLY IMPOSED TARIFFS ON THIS ITEM

The main page states,

News:

  • There are very important news items below. Please read and understand them

  • With the currently evolving trade war and instability in pricing (daily changes in tariff rates), we are evaluating some of the products on our website. We hope things get back to normal soon. Some products are not currently available. We hope you understand that we cannot sell products for less than we pay for them.

Airspy Us was the only one in the US. Itead is good and sell for 175 something after shipping but warn you are responsible for any added tariffs/duties.. Reach out to them and ask.

Did you try ordering from China still might be tariffs and duty
Trying to avoid ordering from China.

I saw all that on the AirSpy website, and have seen it for months now. Thus trying to locate another one at around the same price point.

I appreciate the replies thus far 🫡

Airspy US is no longer listed as a distributor on the Airspy.com website. There was another thread that mentioned they didn’t show up for their table at Hamvention in Dayton or something to the effect.

I was the one who posted AirspyUS did not show up at Dayton/Xenia and their table had pieces (2) of paper tape to it blaming tariffs and said at that price they could not sell enough to pay for them coming. (Those papers were removed to give the table to someone else while I was standing there. Note that AirspyUS did not also appear in another previous year leaving their table unoccupied. AirspyUS has never been a very dependable distributor and I have bought numerous spares form them in the past knowing I could not depend on the perhaps later. But I had worse problems with Nooelec. HRO carries SDRplay product and are of course a dependable dealer of those.

So is there anybody in the USA that legitimately sells the AirSpy R2 units? I see some places with off the wall prices, and odd payment methods.

Was thinking maybe a member on here would be willing to assist that lives over there.
Unless my dollar to euro converter is wrong, they are still selling for outrageous prices!
Germany (Wimo) 232 euro = 266 dollars

WOW!

I will just use the one I have, and be happy with it until USA stock is back. I ordered one back in November, from AirSpy direct, and it arrived in a suitable timeframe, and works like a champ.

I do appreciate the replies here, thanks
