Universal is out of stock till after Christmas. I just got off the phone with a dealer. Does anyone have a good dealer website that they would recommend? With the price of 500 and not 550? It would be greatly appreciated. I just cant find anywhere to buy it.

I received mine from ScannerMaster on Wednesday. Review their on-line flyer for a 1% coupon.

Yes, Glenn at Scanners Unlimited has been an excellent seller for 30 + years. He is also real close to the GRE America location.

Yes, I spoke to Glenn on the phone for about 15 minutes. He didn't mind talking to me at all. Real customer service. I learned more from him in about 15 minutes than I could reading a book on this stuff.
Thanks for the Referrals

On Wednesday 12/18 I drove up to R&R Comunications Inc., in Delaware, from Maryland to purchase my 500. The people there were very nice! Ironically there were three other customers from Md. (De. 0% sales tax). I would highly recommend buying from R&R. The owner also told me that they have ship orders all around the world. www.rrcom.com/rrcom.html

I bought my PSR-300 from Lentini last week via Ebay and received it in two days with free shipping. They have a store in Newington, Ct and also sell on Ebay (you can pay with PayPal). I bought my 300 via Ebay. Granted, you would not get it by Christmas now, but soon thereafter I should think. They have them listed as below with over an hour left in the sale. I highly recommend them! They have been around for a while and are reputable.

I'd highly recommend Glenn at Scanners Unlimited. I've purchased several items from him over the last few years (most recently a PSR-500), and have always been more than happy with his customer service.

I do like the fact that I can walk into his store without driving 50 miles. However, the last purchase was made over the phone.

Glenn at Scanners Unlimitied, hands down. My first purchase from him was in 1979 to an APO in England. I had scanner in hand in SEVEN (that is 7) days from mailing order to scanner delivery.

I've dealt with him ever since. Latest purchase was my 500 from CA to VA. One day I will actually get to meet him.

Another vote for Glenn of Scanners Unlimited - though I have also had good results from Grove Enterprises and ScannerMaster before I learned of him. I deal with Glenn because he seems to really care about customer service - something that has all but vanished from retail sales operations. Potentially saving a few bucks at the megastores is no bargain when you have a problem or a question and the staff don't have a clue about the details of what they are selling. Any time I've had a question for Glenn, I got a prompt, competent, honest reply by phone or email.
