Where to buy HAM RADIOS ?

I am looking for ham radio stores or stores that carry mobile ham radios in the sacramento area the reason is of troubles of online ordering i have tryed the following stores
Frys
Radioshack
Walmart
And as far as the web sites show they dont have any at all and thank you very much ahead of time....

Also i know there is that electronic store on Jst and 29th street i think but does anyone know if they carry mobile ham radios....

Closest would be HRO in Oakland.

try universal radio and grove ent. online. thats your best bet unless you wanna drive all the way to oakland.

A good source is www.aesham.com but their closest store to you is in Las Vegas. I also believe that you have to have a ham license to buy that type of equipment from them. All of their employees are hams and they are very helpful.

I second www.aesham.com if you plan to order online. Great service and I've been a customer of theirs for many years (okay fine, more than a decade now).
