HA-HA! so true, glad to see that it is not only me.......marriage licenses should expire when the children have all turned 18.

Also, at that price the upgrades should be included. It is a lot of money.

Not Ontario, but they will ship for free.
I popped in all those details to the ScannerMaster order page : Uniden Bearcat SDS100 Police Scanner | ScannerMaster.com I believe it worked out to $866 US

Using the xe.com conversion rate you would be looking just shy of $1200 Canadian or the value of a 1998-2003 vintage car.

Well that saves about $ 100.00 by my calculations , Im not sure about if there would be duty/customs fees though ,... I did see this on RadioWorld web site "Radioworld offers warranty on the products directly purchased from Radioworld. We do not perform on site service, but will forward your defective product directly to the manufacturer on your behalf for repair or exchange as needed" that would be alot cheaper to send to Toronto than Texas ,...if it is needed

You are right about those custom fees. If I remember, when I purchased a HomePatrol from ScannerMaster there was at least $30 tacked on.

Ya, I dont think I am gonna see a real significant price difference from RadioWorld. I like that is says on their site that they will forward defective products to the manufacturer for you. If Its something that is needed down the road, I'd rather pay shipping to Toronto than Texas as it's a pretty good chunk of change to drop. I hope this radio works & stays working. I know its water resistant, but I hope it's durable too..
