Scanner Logic Systems are nothing like the logic systems in cams or cells or PCs.... Completely differing functionality by design. A scanners main logic functions are for the main thing a scanner does... SCANNING! Its onboard computing power is mainly designed around radio operations, not data storage and computational operations! If you want all that extra power and functionality, go buy an actual radio for each and every system you want to monitor, get licensed, and authorized on each one... Oh, sorry but none of those radios has to worry about storage space on SD cards to add to its functional parameters. Cant compare them except for the same functions you have in the scanners.... Radio operations and scanning capability and technology! If you want to go into whaaa whaaa land over SD card, storage capacity and functionality.. Just take that whaaaaaambulance ride on over to forums about computers and other devices that are primarily designed around mass storage device systems etc.... Sheesh.
