Whistler WS1088

Looking into getting the about unit.

I know that this site can provide the info for many different scanners.

What about the WS1088?? Also, if it will work with the 1088 how do you or does it work?
Will I need any special cables or anything like that?

The WS1088 is a great scanner, it can listen to P25 phase I and 2 systems and has a firmware update to listen to DMR. You don't need any special cables, it comes with a USB cable so that you can program it with the EZ Scan software on your computer or you can just hand program it on the radio itself. The newer version of the scanner is the TRX-1 which supports NXDN.
