As of 8 am this morning the Greenwood fire dispatch will be dispatching the WRT fire dept. There are changes to the talk groups but it will be a couple of days before I can get to the FD to get the changes. I talked to Lt. Tom Kite of the Greenwood fire dept and was told the change will add about 1500 calls a year to the Greenwood dispatchers.

I have not noticed anything different other than GFD-Disp is a very busy TG now.

I agree but I was told there are changes. I hope to get there this week to find out what they are.

I have been hearing them dispatched on Greenwood Fire Dispatch, I have not heard if they are sharing the same OPS channel or not. Probably not much help, just what I have heard.

I have not gotten a chance to talk to them yet but they are using the Greenwwod talk goups. A Greenwood officer told me that the county FG6 has changed to a Greenwood OPS94 talk group.

I just spoke to the Greenwood fire chief and received a list of the changes to the talkgroups. They are as follows. JCS-FG5 is now GFD-OP 93 and JCF-FG6 is now GFD-OP 94. The JCF-ADM 5 is now WR-ADM 5. These were the only changes to the system.

When did these take affect? Have you submitted these to radio reference? If not I will for you.
