• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

    Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules.     If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

    To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

    The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

    For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

    This is a large and very visible forum. We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. Please respect this.

Thought this might be pretty cool to share , This is Whiteville's new Charger that we did the install on.

Keep in mind we do what they ask - not what we want to do - there might be differing opinions like as in I don't really like the lightbar but not my choice.

Anyway here's some pics of the install

me too me tooo - I don't like the lightbar on there or the antenna - thought it would have looked a LOT better with a low profile quarter wave maybe , but again we do what they ask so....... so be it !! :D

Yes that was mentioned today - I forgot that , think it will be rear strobes not sure about in the windows though. That's an excellent question because I would have rather seen this setup more undercover....just seems to "sharp" for the "grind" doesn't it? Stateys do the same - check this car out ! (posted in another thread but no harm I don't think)

Hey yo - you got your install done yet ?

I can tell you this !!! It registers 160 mph !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would not ever drive the peoples cars we do installs on unless they asked me too - or needed it driven somewhere - I would like to sometimes (and this one - you betchya) but I'll just have to abide by watching them drive away a Happy Camper. (or Officer OR in this case - THE CHIEF) :D



So let me know if yours is done I was thinking might could head up that way for a weekend and we could git -r- done , I have all we need in tools.....I also know very dear lady in Chesepeake that would love have my company - again (LOL) (Saturday Night) , we could have that done on a Saturday , depending on how well the console fits - did you get that yet and if you did - perfect fit or need to be modified ? Mods on consoles are uh ah not fun sometimes....
