What are you wanting to scan? PD, Fire, Railroad, construction, Walmart? What cities? Pro96 is limited on what it will do but there is plenty you should be able to receive. All of the info is in the DB, and you should be able to do a Google search for the manual (programming instructions) if you don't have it. Won't cost you anything and you can set it up the way you want. Feel free to ask any specific questions.

Scott, you probably would get better visibility on your request if moved down to the Arizona regional forum. To do that, do not create a new thread. Instead, click on the Report in the lower left corner of one of your posts, and request that a moderator move your thread to the state forum. Someone in the area would be more likely to see it there.

Also, while you may be able to monitor the TOPAZ system used in Mesa, you would not be able to use the Pro-96 to monitor the RWC TRS, and probably not the Maricopa P25 System once it is fully online. For the RWC system, all the sites use 700MHz frequencies, which your Pro-96 cannot use to track a system. For the upcoming county system, all sites but one use 700MHz frequencies, so unless you are in range of that one site, you're out of luck.

For the TOPAZ system, only one site (out of four) uses 700MHz. The main Simulcast site is 800MHz, which your scanner can handle, but there have been many comments about problems monitoring simulcast systems in your area. Look through the Arizona forum for more information.
