Why Can't I....?

Granted, I'm not one of your active members, but I do drop in once in awhile. And I do have an open account here. This time, I'm looking for an old friend, Richard Block - KG4CHW, to see if he has any old pictures of our times in South Florida. Last time I heard from him was many years ago, and I had no idea where he was. But your records up here show him in Trenton FL.

So I went to his info page and wrote down his address and then went and clicked on the Send Message button. It jumped me to the forums pages, and then told me I didn't have permissions to do that action. And it keeps telling me I have to log on to do something, although I'm already logged on.

So what am I doing wrong here, and how do I get a message to Richard?
