I have two trunked systems I listen to. Each one has a site with all the control freqs. Then ANOTHER site with all 0.000 frequencies.

There was a benefit to doing it like this. It was suggested on the forum. But for the life of me I can't figure out what it was for?

Any ideas?

DSP will do something to the decode process but will be highly location dependent as well as system dependent of what value to use. You'll have to experiment yourself to find the optimum setting. It's pretty much like the filter settings in SDS100/200 that you cannot use some other persons settings at your unique location.

For that other threshold setting it sets the value of reception where it goes so bad that it should switch to another site and have nothing to do with the actual decode process, other than perhaps clear any memory variables that DSP had stored and start from fresh again, if it goes to the dummy site and instantly returns again to the first site.
