I am a newbie and need to know why I do not seem to get the GSP on my RS pro 106. Is there some way to look on my scanner manualy to see if it is there? Also how can I manually put it into the scanner if possible.

Well, if GSP is anything like the THP, you're not going to hear much on the HF/VHF frequencies unless they are close to you. I see all of the GSP in your area use "conventional" frequencies, so you won't get anything in th "trunked or digital" rangem most likely

Since I do not know which model scanner you have I cn't answer the "How to check" question. They all vary from one scanner to another. However, if you are using the Win500 software you should be able to see what is in any bank/scan list you have and if it has been "locked out" or not. Sorry I can't be of more help. I use the Pro-106 scanner, so I could inform you of how to check it manually if you used it!

Going on vacation! Have a great week!

Mocman. you should be able to hit the MAN button and put the scanner in Manual mode. use your up and down arrows to go thru the freq's. Like Hp said, you will not hear them unless they are clos e to you.
