I recently purchased a new computer running Win7 Home Premium, 64 bit. Does this OS make streaming audio any easier than previous versions of Windows? I would like to experiment with streaming scanner audio but, to this point, it has seemed to be an extremely complicated process fraught with plenty of opportunities to make a real mess of my computer.

No, not unless you've previously used an ancient version of Windows such as Win98.
Then again, I've never found setting up an online scanner to be difficult since I wrote ScannerCast
I'm probably just a BIT biased on that score, however.Peter
