• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

MAC-7 is the command channel for police operations in Windsor.

Multi-agency in the norm currently since Greeley, Ft Collins, CSP, Loveland, Longmont etc officers are covering Windsor.

Heard two or three calls yesterday of looting where residents came home and found additional damage not caused by the tornado also heard another of a armed, uniformed security guard walking the streets that police has already asked to leave twice already and if he returned again would be arrrested.

Larimer County Fire/EMS feed on www.scancolorado.com is scanning Mac-7 and 8 for those outside the area if interested.

We had to hire armed guards to patrol our building. The looters are out there looking for the copper we put in our units, not to mention anything else they can get their hands on that is worth anything. I guess someone forgot to tell them this is Small town Windsor. Not Down town Denver. I am all for shooting them in the head and putting a sign on their chest that says LOOTER!

FORT COLLINS - Police have arrested a man they say shot a woman to death in her home Sunday morning.

Fort Collins Police said they received a 911 call just after 4 a.m. reporting shots fired in the 1600 block of Westbridge Drive off Prospect Road in west Fort Collins.

When police arrived, they found a deceased woman in her mid 20s. Her name was not immediately released.

Police arrested 29-year-old Justin Moore in the 300 block of Locust Street in Windsor at 5:30 a.m. He is being held at the Larimer County Detention Center on suspicion of murder.
