Bought mine used and didn't get the factory cord. I am using a store bought patch cord with no problems.

Now if I could just figure out how to calibrate the frequency display on a 1500 series.

same boat I'm in...................don't remember where ya got the cord do you by chance? (I have the 1550e) , you plugged all the XRS freebies in yet ?? pretty cool eh...I do NOT have the Digital Suite but I have it on the way. Must be a big difference with all that ?? I also don't have the Trunking Option Software at a good deal yet....I really think they go a little on the overboard side with some of the prices...I went to get the original cord from them , $10.00 ok so I say to myself well it's "original" so I go to checkout - take a wild guess what shipping is - $19.95 - riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

I'm pretty sure I got it at a computer/electronics store in Austin called Altex for about $4. They have bins of all different type of patch cords.

I have been running a couple non-Winradio digital suites. MxW is a good one. MultiPSK is another.
