Going out on a limb. But there is a company called Rhino Radio rental out of Maple Grove. They supply rental radios, I know that I have seen them at Moondance Jam, and Lakes Jam. Maybe they do the same. I tried finding their fcc license but had no luck. I found it a few years ago, they were like 16 UHF frequencies in the business range

Fantastic! I will try that and report back with any findings.

Has anyone been to Winstock and what do they use for radio communications? I've already checked for licenses and even STA licenses, but nada. Would they use Alpha-ancom Connect+ system?

Does anyone have any insights? Thanks
I would also check MURS frequencies, and national licenses of companies associated with the touring acts.

Most acts and related companies do not use radios licensed to them, they use rental radios with frequencies licensed to the company the radios come from eligible for nationwide usage. Two notable companies used a lot include Road Radios and Bearcomm.

Just a small update

Rhino communications is definitely the provider for this event. I will have to listen back to recordings tomorrow to fully ID the usage. A mix of DMR and XPT in use.

LE is using South Central TACs 11 and 12 on ARMER

Bet you hear some good transmissions about getting towed out. Saw the news about the RV's needing towed out by tractors from all the rain they got.
