Does anyone monitor western Michigan police? I put in the freqs listed here on rr.com, but I haven't been hearing anything.

Which scanner are you using. You have to have a digital scanner to monitor WMU PD. If you do have a digital scanner then you have to program the WMU Trunked System in.

I just programed the red control channels in and not the others, which I'm assuming is ok for this system.

Programming the control channels should be alright. I use a PRO-96 and not very knowledgeable with Uniden Scanners. WMU police is usually very quiet except on weekends and during special events.

Ok, I'll try programing it into my Pro96 as well. Thanks for the information.

I just got the BCD396XT and I have them in there. I got a few hits on the Dispatch channel but Food services TG has the most consistent traffic.

FYI - to the best of my knowledge, WMU police and the majority of other services jumped ship over to the MPSCS system. maintenance/grounds/food services still seam to be using the old system the last time I was working around there. When the state started switching thier systems over they switched some of the tower there at wmu over along with the state psyc hosp right next door
