• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

I'm using a Uniden BCD396T and I'm having trouble programming the Gilmore location correctly on the JeffCo trunked system.

I'm not hearing all the traffic I should be for that location as determined by listening to other locations simultaneously with another scanner and another location. Only TGID I've seen on it is 500-0 when programmed like the other locations. I've heard partial traffic for Forestdale and Bessemer/River but not complete.

Any suggestions or new information will be appreciated.

The frequency list for Gilmore on the Radioreference.com page is incomplete. I'm hearing traffic now since I used the FCC license info to program all the frequencies for the location.

Did you make the submission update ??

Data only get's updated when users like you take the time to
a. Find the Errors
and
b. Most important - make the submission from the RRDB Page
Look for the tab on the DB Page that says "SUBMIT"
