I'm visiting the Dayton OH area and have the WPAFB systems (Areas A and B) loaded into the scanner. On my 436, I get a 'nothing to scan', but on my 325P2 it will find the control channel, I am not hearing anything.
The 'nothing to scan' bugs me, but I am not going to worry as I leave tomorrow. The control channels are correct, service types set, location turned off, and other systems on the USAF 157 system have worked.
Just curious if anyone else has had this problem.

sounds like you have not selected the system in your favorites.

Such a common issue they created a wiki for it:

sounds like you have not selected the system in your favorites.
Could also be disabled service types. OP should reference "Tag" column and turn on all applicable service types, they're not all enabled by default

Thank you all for telling me to check my service types. That is one of the first things I checked, they are on.
Problems I've had with the 'nothing to scan' include: trying to scan a 'system' that has location control on and national DB turned off; service types not set; failed to import the HPD file (though set to monitor); not having the system selected to be monitored.
On this FL, I have county systems and they scan on another sysqk the base will not.
But as I'm leaving in the morning, I'm not going to worry about it.
