It appears WvIRP Rockport is on line now. The CC is 460.600 and SID is 0170-0154, as usual if anyone in the area may want to verify this also.

If you have the ability to monitor this site with Pro96Com or Unitrunker to obtain site neighbors and an alternate CC, please do let us know. That goes for anyone who will be monitoring this site.

Hi , I live in Rockport and have noticed the 460.600 freq. is active . I am new to the trunking and am having some trouble with specifics on the arc500 software ,I have a pr0197 just started my software lastnight . Didnt recieve anything on the WVIRP yet . should I be able to hear anyone on the system if I have their alpa tag .or does the wild card open it up to recieve all of it ?

You'll only hear traffic on Rockport if there are mobiles/radios for whatever agency affiliated with that tower. And to my knowledge no agencies in the area have been reported to be using the WVIRP.
Definitely in your situation, the Group Wildcard is the way to go. I'm pretty sure there would be little [if any] traffic on that site as a whole at this time, so I would seriously doubt you'd be overwhelmed with unwanted traffic by using the Group Wildcard.
